On Monday 18 June, the ALAIRE Terrace Bar at the Hotel Condes de Barcelona is organising an event that joins gastronomy with charity to raise funds for the protection of children, education and the fight against hunger.  From 8 pm to 11 pm, six prestigious chefs will offer a dinner/cocktail event based on tapas, made in front of guests, for just €25. All profits will go to various charity projects.

As part of the gastronomic proposal, Antonio Sáez, chef from the LASARTE restaurant (2 Michelin stars), will prepare caramelised millefeuille of foie-gras, smoked eel and green apple; Adelf Morales from the restaurant TOPIK will make tuna tataki with seaweed romesco sauce and ginger marmalade; Carlos Fernández, executive chef at the Hotel CONDES DE BARCELONA, will put together a McALAIRE hamburger with sautéed onion, pickles and aioli; Dani Lechuga from the restaurant CALDENI will prepare oxtail cannelloni with potato béchamel sauce; Tomás Closa chef from the restaurant LOIDI will make a cold melon, garlic and almond soup with a dusting of Iberian ham and seasonal baby sprouts; and Xavi Sender, chef from the restaurant FONDA ESPAÑA, will whip up a sweet free-range chicken and Iberian-pig rice dish. A variety of exquisite tapas to enjoy on the ALAIRE Terrace Bar, a privileged space located on the top floor of the Hotel Condes de Barcelona, which boasts spectacular views over the city.

Additionally, ticket purchase entitles attendees to take part in the draw for the following prizes offered by the Alaire Terrace Bar to thank them for taking part in the charity event:
– One night’s bed and breakfast in a suite at the 4-star Hotel Condes de Barcelona Supp.
– Dinner for two at the Fonda España restaurant in the 4-star Hotel España Supp.
– Dinner for two at the Alaire Ramblas Terrace Bar in the 4-star Hotel España Supp.

The charity event will include the participation of companies that collaborate with the Hotel Condes de Barcelona and the ALAIRE Terrace Bar, who will offer their products for sampling. They include Guzmán, Lycamar, Puigbó, Grup Cano, PaSolà, Gran Blau, Peixos Amadeu i fills, Alaska Seafood, Sushi Si, Cominport, Caviaroli, Abstoss World Gastronomy, Koppert Cress, Peixos Genaro, Estrella Damm, Fever-Tree, Pernod Ricard with Beefeater 24 and Juvé i Camps.
