To make sure you don’t miss anything, especially if your stay in the city is brief, we recommend you use Barcelona City Council’s official tourist bus service, known as Barcelona Bus Turístic, taken by 2 million passengers every year.

Barcelona Bus Turístic has a fleet of modern open-top double-decker buses equipped with audio guides in 10 languages and covering the most interesting tourist spots in the city on 3 bus routes: Red, Blue and Green. The ticket you buy is valid for any of the buses on the three routes, enabling you to hop on and off at any time you wish.

It is without question the most convenient and economical way of discovering the best of Barcelona.


BLUE: Covering the centre and north of the city from Plaça Catalunya to the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art (MACBA), taking in Passeig de Gràcia, the Sagrada Família, the district of Gràcia, Parc Güell, Tibidabo, Pedralbes and the FC Barcelona football stadium.

RED: Covering the centre and south of the city from Plaça Catalunya to Parc de la Ciutadella, taking in Passeig de Gràcia, the Diagonal, Sants Station, Montjuïc and Port Vell.

GREEN: Covering the most modern area of ​​Barcelona ​​from Port Olímpic to Poblenou, taking in the Forum and enabling passengers to enjoy the best views of the city’s beaches.

– Frequency: Every 5 – 25 minutes depending on the season.


– Red and Blue routes: year-round (except 1 January and 25 December).

– Green route: from 30 March to 4 November.
